School Dinners

Our school meals are cooked on the school site by Caterlink, our contract provider. Children are served a healthy main course including a range of self-serve salad options. The children can choose to have the dessert of the day, a piece of fruit or a yogurt.  The school dinner menu is wide and varied.  The children are supplied with the menu at the beginning of each new term.  The school kitchen will cater for children on dairy or gluten free diets, vegetarians and children who follow religious dietary observance.

Other children bring in a packed lunch.  We ask that parents support the schools healthy eating ethos by providing a well-balanced packed lunch without fizzy drinks or items with high sugar or fat content.  Some of our children suffer from nut allergies and because of this we are a nut free school.  Therefore we ask that parents do not provide food items containing nuts in their child’s packed lunch, for example, peanut butter sandwiches.
